It’s an intersesting proejct that i see from the douban  ” I want to bring you back to my childhood”.

I think show the pictures of the childhood is a very romantic thing between lovers. Yes, besides that you have done the “face changing”. When we look back of our past pictures, it seems to watch another person’s life.

I was not so cute in my childhood,while my mother is still a beauty. She wants me have thick hair and long  eyelashes, so she scissor my eyelahses with her quiver hands after when i come to the world just one month. And also shaved all the satiny hair on my head. Well, i can understand a mother’s strong willing of having a angel baby. But the results is i was bald until 2 years’ old. My mother was very ancious that i will be bald forever.

And i have experience a lot in my childhood and i was so eager to take with somone.  As time gose by, i seems forget a lot, forget the words and something important. Hu~~~how time flys!

Matrxi don’t like to look back and he seems lives in the upcoming century and what he is doing now  is to try his best back to future.  George is very hard to say at this moment, I believe he enjoy the best time in his life(that means now or in future). So it seems i’m the most stupid guy who still wondering in my memory and want to bring my lover to my childhood.

 It doens’t mean that i live a very bad life now, some people said i was live a very suitabel life and can go many places to travel. However, i still miss my childhood, it might not very speical, but i do want to share it with my lovers.  I want to cover the shame when i was still a little girl and  faced those days on my own.

GEEK COOK

My blog title is GEEK NEVER COOK, actually I love cooking. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do after work. I named my blog inspired by an online cloth manufacturer GEEK COOK.

Their design philosophy are democracy and science, both are our current society needed. Beside the abstract ideas, their stuffs are real awesome.

I have bought two T-shirts this summer, Nuclear Physics and Twitter theme.

Nuclear Physics

Tag on the right sleeve

Above is the Nuclear Physics theme shirt.After the famous E=MC2 equation are Chinese characters of  uranium, plutonium, protium, deuterium and tritium. The nuclear bombs Fat Man and Little Boy are in the right corner of this shirt. Maybe weired in someone’s eyes, but I like the style. I loved most is the tag on the right sleeve, which is also on all the T-shirt they selled,A geek inside tag. I am proud of be a geek lol.

Buying their cloth, I’m not afraid of thart others weared the same cloth I’m in. The China is so big and GEEK COOK is a small manufacturer and only sell their products online. Well, another advantage let me choose them. Enough for GEEK COOK, I should go and design my own zipper buckle for their new product I would bought later.

I will buy it later

How to Post Google Map in WordPress?

Karen want embeded google map in her post.

At first, I tried insert the HTML code directly. However, it failed because WordPress has some security restrictions.

They all are difficult for general users like Karen. When I browsed the tutorial of Using Google Maps in WordPress, I found a guy chris advertise his own plugin. He claimed even his grandma can use it. I have to say, it’s a good slogan attracted me. After check it, I know he told the truth.

The plugin is MapPress Easy Google Maps, really very easy. You can edit the map in post and page visually. Although it cannot afford advanced features compared with other plugins, it’s enough for us.

Below is the city I live in, I only spend 20 secs.

How far it is to Mohe（Northern Villages In China）!

In 20th June 2007 , there open a flight from Beijing to Mohe（Northern Villages In China）. It’s my birthday on that day and i make a wish that i will go to that place one day and experience the polar night.

These day, my colleague  told me that she already has a baby and can’t go anywhere else these months.  It do make me thinking a lot as a woman but not a mother. When we are still a child, we dream about where we can go and wondering in that fantastic world. I was so enjoy the ten minutes before everydays sleeping, because i can imagine lots of things : fall in love with the guy i like, became a mermaid when swimming in the sea,  flying in the blue sky with my own wing.etc. It sounds like day dream, but i do enjoy it.

When i grows up, i have a nice job which can make me travel a lot. And now, i’m dreaming about going to Mohe, the Northern village in China during one of my birthday time. It doesn’t matter go there on my own, a soul journey can only be tastes by oneself. It make me feel younger just like the first time i read the fairy tale.

Nowadays, we can easily get some where we want to go, with the flight and other transportation vehicle, but we can also find some excuse not to go that places. Is that because we become lazy or lose passion? I know people choose  somewhere to go  must have a reason, and my reason can only be found in the destination.

The meaning of life

What is the meaning of life?  For merchants mean profit, for poor mean food and shelter, for Chinese goverment means control. Douglas Adams told us the answer is 42, though nobody really believe that.

This is the same question I asked myself when I look up to the starry sky. The universe is huge and I feel I am so small. At that moment, I thought I knew something. Exploring the big world is my task in my life.

I live in China, many people in my country forget how to enjoy the life. They are always working hard for physically comfortable and seldom for spiritual joy. I don’t want be one of them, so I make this website to remind myself. Writing can record my life and the journey of my pursuit of knowledge.

We are Chinese, the reason we use English to write blog is that we want open our minds to another world, which is differ from we live in.

The pirates of Penzance

The pirates of Penzance is a comic opera, which is the first concert that i am going to take part in next Saturday after i joined IFC Beijing(International Festival Chorus).

The storyline of this opera isabout a stubborn young man, Federic, who is just realeased from apprenticeship to a host of pirates at his age of 21.  He meets Mable, the daughter of Major General Stanley, with whom he fell in love instantly. However, he finds out he was born on February29th, which means he only has his birthday every leap year. As stated in his indenture, he will only be realeased from his apprenticeship from pirates when he has his 21st birthday. His strong sense of duty makes him decide to serve the appenticeship for 63 years more. And Mable agrees to wait for him.

Im singing the tenor this time. According to our conductor, the difficult part is singing the words as clearly as speaking. For a non-native English speaker, i found it’s very difficult. But i do work on my part to improve it. Anyway, wish all the best to our performance.

Friendship symbol between China and Africa

It’s a story i heard from my friend who just back from Africa.

In 1960S, China send some people to Africa to do some help. And a story happend there.  A young Chinese guy fell in love with a African girl.  And later the girl got  pregnancy. The chinese part insisted to ask the girl to do abortion. But the Chinese guy and the africa girl refused to do that. And then the Chinese part required the African part to pursuade the Africa girl to do the abortion. However, the head of the African village support the African gril to give birth to the Child. He said, this speical child is the symbol of  the friendship between China and Africa.

The China part feel difficult to persuade the Africa part, so they gave high mental pressure to the young Chinese guy. They young guy didn’t want the girl get any hurt and also he wanted to keep their child. Later, he chose suicide to end this  wrangle. The China part buried this poor guy’s body in haste and no longer interupt the girl’s life.  On the contrary, the Africa part changed the village’s name to “Zhou” (the family name of that chinese guy to memory him. And their Child are already grow up and live a very good life.

Open 3p BLOG ‘s idea comes from Matrix. I know it the name may sounds a little exotic because of “3p”. However, in ancient China Confucius said ” Among three people, one can learn a lot from the ther two” . I know taht i can’t explained the sentence very exactly at this moment and i hope i can make it better in the future,

Open doors, open minds!

Sometimes we close our heart to others, the others can be your parents, your friends, your lovers.  It may seems very hard to open at some moment, however, when you decide to open that, you will see more you haven’t see before.
